A child often feels like a leaf blown along by the wind. Our guidance shows kids that they are both the leaf and the wind.

Be the first to hear about upcoming talks and special events.
Often referred to as "Ted Talks for kids," our talks honor how children learn. They're live and FOMO-worthy because of the chance to interact. Using child development and active-learning research, topics are presented by well-known achievers who are also great humans. And they don't just talk, they listen, and play alongside your child. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
Our 15-minute engaging talks are followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. Parental attention is not necessary during this time. You’re busy enough!
Do you recall the magic and pragmatism of Aesop’s fables? The lessons imparted by these stories went far beyond reading, writing, arithmetic. Similarly, we aim to help kids understand the world around them in ways they don’t learn at school but are expected to know in life. From friendship skills to gratefulness to their ability to change the world. These are not talks in the sense of “the big talk,“ nor are they academic in nature.
Everyone is welcome to participate without turning on their camera. By turning on your video, you consent to its inclusion in the recording of this webinar and future educational uses of the recording. Including your video in the recordings helps other kids feel comfortable in future sessions and demonstrates how interactive our events are.
In a healthy environment, children aren‘t forced down a certain path, like a leaf by the wind. Children are both the leaf and the wind. In other words, children are active partners in their interactions with the world - in building knowledge, skills, shaping their attitudes, and more. Similar to apprentices, children learn from and alongside those with greater experience. (These ideas were first put forward by child developmental psychologist Lev Vygotsky, widely considered "the Mozart of Psychology.”) As such, our talks are based on our shared experience of being human and are delivered with respect, not superiority.
